Professor Brent Jackson

Project Co-Director

Brent Jackson is the MBA program director in the Canberra Business School.  Before joining the University of Canberra, Brent held executive roles across the private sector, federal government and not-for-profit sector, most recently as CEO of an industry advocacy group.  His professional experience includes serving as a non-executive director and chairman on the boards of not-for-profit and peak advocacy bodies across the design, construction and higher education sectors, and his industry experience spans the wagering, consulting, FMCG manufacturing, mining and engineering industries.  Brent has served as an executive general manager in an ASX-listed critical minerals mining company, which was recognised as strategically important and granted Major Project Status by the Australian Government. 

Brent has led a diverse range of functional business teams, including corporate affairs, marketing, strategy, and management consulting.  Brent has tertiary qualifications in business and psychology and also holds a PhD in strategic management from the Australian National University.
